Melody Harwell brought serious coffee to Oklahoma City when she opened Coffee Slingers in a renovated car dealership in March. They support fair trade, organic, non-gmo, & local products which is tops! I can’t find a fresher, more aromatic, tasteful cup of coffee anywhere in town. Their chai puts all others to shame. The one thing I think everyone needs to keep in mind when visiting Coffee Slingers is that it isn’t Starbucks and your experience will be completely different from one at Starbucks. Every one of the Slingers is friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. The biggest mistake I see is first-time visitors will not explain what they like before ordering a drink - and what they end up with isn’t what they expected. Coffee Slingers is coffee perfection, and their teas are unbeatable!”

Y’all know Barefoot Coffee has a fine variety of Hand Crafted Coffees. I dropped that “Y’all” like it’s hot. It’s kind of funny. I spent a few years in Texas as a child and the southern slang for “you, you all, you guys…. you name it, has been gone from my vocabulary for decades. I spent a week in Oklahoma City, Ok and guess what, y’all. IT’S BACK!!!”
